1. Maintenance of furniture
·Our paint finish not only enhances the beauty of wood, but also provides necessary protection to the surface of furniture. The furniture products we sell are all sourced from imported natural wood, and even in the most casual lifestyle, it still requires more protective measures to extend its service life.
·Dust should be removed frequently, as dust rubs against the surface of solid wood furniture every day. It is best to use a clean, non fading pure cotton towel, and remember not to use sponges or tableware cleaning products to wipe your furniture. When dedusting, please use a wet cotton towel as it can reduce friction, avoid scratching furniture, and help reduce the adsorption of static electricity on dust, which is beneficial for removing dust from the surface of furniture. It is recommended to avoid moisture residue on the surface of furniture and wipe it again with a dry towel.
·To remove pollutants from the air, cooking fumes, stains during operation, and traces caused by residue during polishing, we recommend using a specialized furniture cleaner. This solvent can also help remove excess wax and prepare for polishing.
·Furniture should not be placed in areas with high temperature, humidity, intense vibration, and strong light. The room should be kept ventilated and cool. When cleaning furniture, you should first use flexible tools such as a feather duster to clean the dust, and then gently wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid hard or sharp objects hitting furniture, and avoid hitting the surface of glass or metal accessories. Furniture metal accessories only need to be gently wiped with a dry towel for testing. Cleaners containing chemicals should not be used, and acidic or corrosive liquids should not be used for cleaning. Panel furniture can be cleaned with a towel dipped in a small amount of water or an appropriate amount of cleaning agent. After six months of use, furniture care wax can be used for care and the cabinet should be kept clean. If the product is misaligned, malfunctioning, or damaged due to self disassembly or assembly, the specialized store should be notified in a timely manner to assist in handling it.
·It is recommended to follow the following steps for cleaning: pour a small amount of furniture cleaner onto a clean soft cotton cloth. Wipe the surface of the furniture in the direction of the wood grain, then turn the cloth over and wipe it again until all the cleaning agents are removed, and finally implement the appropriate furniture polishing procedure.
·Regardless of the type of cleaning agent used, it is best to conduct a small test in an inconspicuous location before thoroughly wiping your furniture to ensure that the paint on your furniture has not softened or even been wiped off together, and there are no other adverse reactions.
2. Leather sofa maintenance
·Firstly, one should understand the types of leather, and professional sofa cleaners and maintenance agents can be used except for sanded leather. For newly purchased leather sofas, first use a clean cotton towel to remove dust and dirt from the surface of the sofa, and then gently wipe the surface of the sofa with a care agent one to two times (do not use waxy care products). This forms a protective film on the surface of the leather, making it difficult for future dirt to penetrate into the pores of the leather, making it easy for future cleaning.
·To avoid scratching the leather with sharp tools; Must be placed in a ventilated and dry room.
·To avoid oil stains, ballpoint pens, ink, etc. getting dirty on the sofa, if any stains are found on the sofa, they should be immediately cleaned with leather cleaner. If there is no leather cleaner, a clean white towel dipped in a little alcohol can be used to lightly wipe the stains, and then a dry wet towel can be used to wipe them dry. Finally, care should be taken with a protective agent.
·For daily care of the sofa, simply wipe it with a clean cotton towel and clean it with leather cleaner for about 2-3 months.
·In order to extend its service life and avoid children jumping and playing on the sofa, the body with sweat should not come into direct contact with the sofa.
·The sofa should be placed 5-10cm away from the wall, maintain ventilation, and maintain a relative indoor air temperature of 40% -70%.
·Be careful not to use water to scrub the leather sofa. Over time, the leather will become hard and lose its soft feeling. Also, do not use cleaning agents to clean the sofa casually, as it will cause the leather to fade and change.
·To avoid direct sunlight on the sofa, if the living room is often exposed to sunlight, it is advisable to adjust the positions of several sofas at intervals to prevent significant color differences; If the humidity is high, the weak sunlight from 8am to 10am can be used to irradiate for seven days, one hour per day, approximately once every three months.
·Normally, rinse the towel (or any soft and non fading cloth) with clean water, wring it dry by hand, fold it up, hold the folded towel in hand, spray leather protector until slightly wet, try to apply the leather, gently rub it, do not rub it hard, try to apply each part in sequence, and repeat spraying the protector to keep the fabric slightly wet until the care procedure is completed. Reduce the ductility of the skin. Thus extending the lifespan of the sofa. The cleaning method for sanded sofa cannot be used using the above cleaning methods (except for oil stains on the leather). It can be gently brushed with sandpaper to restore its appearance.
3. Fabric sofa maintenance
·Vacuum at least once a week, paying attention to removing dead corners and dust accumulation between fabric structures. If the cushion can be flipped and converted, it should be flipped once a week to evenly distribute the wear. You can also frequently take the cushion outdoors and pat it to loosen the internal fibers and maintain the elasticity of the sofa. If there is a stain, it can be wiped off with a clean cloth dipped in water. To avoid leaving any marks, it is best to start from the periphery of the stain. Velvet furniture should not be soaked in water and should use dry cleaning agents. All fabric covers and liners should be cleaned dry and not washed with water. Bleaching is prohibited. If any loose threads are found, do not use your hands to break them. Use scissors to trim them neatly.
4. Wooden sofa maintenance
·Wooden sofas should not be damp or exposed to sunlight. If placed next to windows, curtains should be installed. After wiping with a damp cloth, it should be immediately wiped with a dry cloth. Due to the different paint treatments on the surface of various furniture, attention should be paid to using different maintenance methods, and waxing is a good maintenance method. To clean a wooden sofa, you can mix it with neutral soap and warm water (approximately 1:20 ratio), then wipe it with clean water, and dry it with a dry cloth to reduce the chance of stains getting stuck on the surface of wooden furniture. You can also purchase wooden furniture maintenance oil spray, which has a protective effect.
